Wha wha automatic ?

Depends on what you mean by automatic, but yes. Instead of assigning a pedal to the Control parameter of the wah, assign either an LFO or the Envelope controller as the source depending on what you want. LFO will sweep the wah on a regular interval while Envelope controller will be controlled by how hard you pick.

Thanks for your answer. I'm gonna try to figure out what you wrote.

Hello everybody,

Do you know if it's possible to get an automatic wha ? And how to get it ?

Thanks !
If I understand what you're asking, it's for a wah effect that you don't have to manually operate. If you're looking for more of an auto-wah envelope follower (in the style of Zappa / Bootsy / Jerry Garcia), look at the envelope follower thread.

To set up a hands-free wah effect
In the wah block, go to the left side, and Ctrl+Click with your mouse to select a controller. I'm on a Mac, BTW. The Windows command may be different.

Select one of the LFOs. In this case, I'm using LFO 1A. These are the default settings, and they're fine as a starting point.

Go to the Controllers tab, and look at LFO 1 + 2. The one on top is LFO 1. I've highlighted the Tempo function. Click it and select 1/4 note.

Now, when you tap the tempo, tap once for each 1/4 note, and the wah pattern will match your tempo. You may want to make some adjustments, either on the modifier screen, or here on the LFO controller. The things you might consider changing are the tempo subdivision, or slope and midpoint, to get more of a loose / swing feel to the timing. But this will give you a starting point for a wah that doesn't require you to manually operate the expression pedal.

Or ...

Just use the Auto-Wah type in the Filter block.

It has been added in recent firmware.
I like the Auto-Wah and do use it in a few presets. I also have one preset where I use the LFO to control the wah so that it's synchronized to the tempo. It's good to have both options.
