I'd say they do. Being a software engineer and having worked on unreleased hardware the leaks showing the unit in public places would break any NDAs I've had to sign.
 
It's Tuesday all over Australia, Asia, Europe and Africa by now :)
It's fun being exited about this, though we don't know yet if it will be released for sale worldwide yet :)

Cliff was the first one who dropped a hint that something new was in the works. I don't expect that this will cause quite the same level of freakiness that most new product announcements do, as it's aimed at a slightly different demographic than your typical Fractal owner. This is more for traditional pedalboards , and I already have a kidney posted on Craigslist to fund mine.

Yes, Cliff did say engineering staff were a little stretched with working on a new product, that's all he said, not a leak. Others that had the device in their possession and in public areas with it to me is sure a breaker of an NDA. I'm sure tomorrow after actual announcement there will be a quite a few YouTube videos from the usual suspects that have had them for maybe a few weeks who have abided by any NDAs.

well - a big portion of the info came from the manual looking to be mistakenly posted early for a short while - so not an NDA issue - who knows maybe intentional / part of the marketing plan.

Do you think that was actually an accident? Either way, I'm not an attorney, but I'd guess after working on new products for a large company myself, that posting the manual online somewhere also counts as breaking some type of NDA.

Yes, it looked to me, upon reading this last week, that the manual was inadvertently posted on the Fractal website's manuals section (not elsewhere / "online somewhere"), then quickly taken down. I suppose that could'v been planned as a bit of marketing hyjinx, but seems unlikely to me. So ya, just a mistake amid many tasks to do is a possibility - but I know folks enjoy imagining more dramatic possibilities, so have at r

Oh, I see now. Understood. Didn’t realize it had been actually inadvertently posted by FAS themselves and not a tester or whatever.
