That sort of thing isn't common, but it's not unheard of, either. Every once it a while, the FM3 or FM9 gets a firsty.

Maybe the FM3 next? Then the Axe-Fx III 22.xx.. lol

They are currently working on some bugs in the FM3 before the official release of the next official firmware. Cliff just might get the newest stuff added in there while they are already under that hood.

You may be right , it looks like maybe things are being sent down to beta as they are ready
Perhaps Buxom Boost was not done when FM3 beta released

I spent a couple of hours listening (and making minor tweaks) to two of my favorite presets and was even happier with their sound than before.

What's even more fun is I added the Bosum Boost to one as an experiment, and it sounds great. There's something to be said about being safely nestled….

Ooh, the Buxom boost does some nice, velvety EOB with the CU24 into the Dlux Verb. The more driven sounds are nice, and feed back very smoothly, and with the EQ set in a "V" (boosted bass and treble, cut mids) and the Tight turned up a bit it does a fair Mk IIC+ impression, but man, with EQ flat and the Tight turned down a smidgen, the EOB is heavenly....

How are you setting this?

I like using it for a slight increase in dynamic response, especially with cleans and edge of breakup sounds.

For me it provides more control over the breakup I can get from variations in pick attack. It's pretty minimal - I think on average I'm bringing in ~2db.
