For those who own the axe 3, does this affect the drives that are on the amp block as well, or just the drive block itself?

Thanks Fractal for keeping the Ax3 and FM3 as close to in sync as possible. This is the major reason I have both units! They won’t always be perfectly the same but appreciate everything you guys do!

Unfortunately I can't have both units, so every new feature from Ax3 is very welcome to me.

We don't even know if it's going to be a public beta. Cliff did say he was in the middle of porting Cygnus to the FM3 back in February, so....

Maybe once Cygnus is no longer "Beta" on the Axe III, we'll see it on FM3. Hopefully not too long, cuz I can't wait!

It should affect just the drives themselves. The input boosts are just eq curves with a level control, as far as I know.

After Cygnus and the drives the only real thing I'd want is honestly the pitch block improvements and the usual amp model wishlist stuff.

I don’t know how much better is the Ax3 pitch block, but FM3 is perfectly usable.
Of course, any improvements are always welcome.
