Humbuster Questions

1. Are Humbuster cables for use with external pedals in the loop?

2. Should the Ring and Sleeve be shorted at the pedal input? Or can it be shorted before that (say at a patch panel)?

3. For a pedal in the loop, I only use a Humbuster cable from Axe Outputs to pedal inputs and not from pedal outs to Axe ins?

Yes

Only at pedal input - Axe3 out must remain TRS.

3. For a pedal in the loop, I only use a Humbuster cable from Axe Outputs to pedal inputs and not from pedal outs to Axe ins?
