Officially its a glue...What is Zap a Gap?
Officially its a glue...
I went through gallons of the stuff back in the day when I was into building balsa model airplanes as a kid. Good memories. I should pick up a kit- it was very relaxing.Officially its a glue...
I wouldn't expect them to start porting it to the other machines until they've finalized it and got it stable on the III, wait until it comes out of beta there then we'll hear something.Any heard anything on this coming to FM3.....a beta even ?
Cliff said he was hopeful and that he didn’t see any reason it wouldn’t.It's going to be a true challenge bringing gapless switching to the FM line, specially the FM3.
Yes, but giving the current posts of the AFIII FW release being 10% more demanding in CPU even with gapless off.... that's where I'm coming from.Cliff said he was hopeful and that he didn’t see any reason it wouldn’t.

It is no longer beta ware.
I’m in the same boat. Currently, the only way to get notified when new Axe firmware comes out is to subscribe to the entire Axe-Fx subforum, and I’m just not prepared for that much notification noise.Hadn't seen that yet, sorry.
I suspect the CPU gain is not related to the gapless switching because we weren’t hearing reports of major changes in CPU when it was first introduced. We knew there should be a minor bump and the reports seemed to be in line with that.Yes, but giving the current posts of the AFIII FW release being 10% more demanding in CPU even with gapless off.... that's where I'm coming from.
