Lead sound

hi guys,
I'm really struggling to get that 'spongy Steely Dan sound' from my setup.
I'm using a Axe fx xl with Matrix amp and a 1x12 guitar cab - oh and my old es335
I normally use a clean amp and drive blocks but I'm not getting that old loose spongy valve sound

Any suggestions would be appreciated

For extra sponginess, I guess you would increase the Supply Sag parameter?
