I just tested the New Firmware and don't feel the faster Channel Switching. Likely it's coming in another Beta

Sorry to ask as I'm still a noob, do I need to export out a preset and will it import in with no problems? I have made the perfect present for my studio and I don't want it to mess up.

Firmware updates won’t affect the construction of your presets. Sounds may change (slightly, over time) as improvements are made to the modeling.

You will have to use a second Cab block instance in parallel, to blend in any 'Legacy' cabs. And reduce the level of the two parallel cab blocks to maintain the same level.

When the beta is complete. There is no way to predict when that will be because the whole point of a beta is to find and fix bugs. The developers will decide when it will be released based upon bug reports (or lack of bug reports) and continued successful testing.

You've made the perfect preset, and you haven't backed it up yet?
