The modeling change could trigger an update cycle, but not until the firmware has stabilized on all three platforms because the developers learn and share improvements and fixes back and forth. Add in Dyna-Cabs and the fact they're not released fully and additional cabs have been mentioned means there needs to be some discussion about what will be done and how because the new cabs are a significant change to the system and deserve being highlighted in the factory presets. Anything before that discussion is likely to result in rework, something that is not enjoyable or productive.Touché
Yeah, some went that fast, especially when we got rolling. Some took a lot of ruminating and consumed a day just figuring out all the moving parts. Not counting weekends and people being out because of touring or sickness or mental/aural exhaustion… I think it went longer last time, or maybe it just felt longer.Let’s say it takes 30 minutes to adjust a scene for the updates. (That’s pretty fast I think.)
Averaging out for a few simple presets like Bypass, let’s say each preset has only 4 scenes (many have more).
384 presets x 4 scenes each at 30 minutes each is 768 hours needed to adjust them all. That’s 32 days straight for reference.
Definitely the same here. We’ve done it many times before but it’s not a trivial amount of time.
I’ve definitely spent 4 hours or more on one factory preset.
That information would need to come from Fractal.Do you know if it as started to make the new presets or not
NoDo you know if it as started to make the new presets or not
It could be a Chrismas present
I'll one up you, in my perfect world (which should exist and I'll live in denial until it does), Fractal would have one factory preset with one scene. One that sounds good no matter what and makes my playing not suck. Yeah, that's the world I wanna live in.In my perfect world (which does not exist and never will), FAS would have maybe half a dozen factory presets.
That preset already exists, it is called your imagination! Legend in your own mind!! I live there most of my time!!!I'll one up you, in my perfect world (which should exist and I'll live in denial until it does), Fractal would have one factory preset with one scene.
