I thought it was cool when they would say things. But I think a certain population in the way they posted kind of turned things sour and perhaps that's why we don't hear anything anymore. The fact that we used to hear things and now we don't it "feels" like something has been taken away but again for my 2 cents I think things got ruined by how people posted.

I cut them slack. I've never designed a product and had to make it a reality and bring it to market so I don't know what it takes or what kind of setback one might encounter in the process.
 
Let's see (clicks 'search'...) Actually, the last comment from Cliff came Oct 11th 2009 (he clarified MFC has bi-color LEDs). That's less than 3 months ago. The thing was first announced 2 years ago (or so), with just that CAD drawing, but there's been several 2009 updates.

BTW, I've been keeping the faith the whole time...that's why I haven't bought an alternative product. ;)

I've said it before, not having any info, the development is taking pretty long AFAICT. But I don't blame them for keeping their mouth shut unless they have something real to say.

i've seen it several times, before on the ION Vetta forum, we had a couple of Line6 guys chiming in. They got their behinds chewed and stopped coming. Now with the waiting list days last year (11 1/2 months for me) and several unsavory incidents the involvement of Fractal got less forthright too. I would like to have Cliff stay on participating here. I would also like it if he spilled beans here more often than on TGP or HRI or whereever they got those quotes from. That will only happen if he could do that safely. I'm sure he can take constructive criticism, but keep it friendly.

Sorry, I added quite a bit to above post after I posted it. I'm a tinkerer...
 
I wonder what the expansion unit will look like... and if it will allow for daisy chaining additional expansion units... Also, I probably would never need more than 4 expression pedals... but it would be nice if each expansion unit added 4 more (and 2 more switches)!!!!

Ohh, it's Cliff in person, finally!! :)

Btw, I just realized how STUPID I was in previous post, MIDI IN 7-pin for on the unit, not for controller, I'm gonna diminish now. :D
 
May I please be a beta tester for the one in the picture? :D That's the first pic I've seen of the actual unit. That looks sweet!! I'm glad I waited!!

Does it have a MIDI Echo function to take midi in and pass the combined signal to the MIDI out?

Very cool!!! I'm so glad it isn't huge. Mine will just be for studio use so I was hoping it wasn't going to have a monster footprint. BTW, would you mind giving me your address and leaving a key under the mat for me? :D Thanks for reposting the pics.
