Improved Amp block triode algorithm.

This almost seems overshadowed somewhat by the various reverb/tremelo improvements and the updated amps, etc.

Fundamental changes to any modeling component always gets my attention; what, if any, are the sonic results of the new triode algorithm? Anything you care to comment on here would be very cool.

Since the triodes have several functions in a preamp/PI I'm thinking this particular improvement might have a noticeable effect on tone/dynamics/feel. Cool stuff as always, and man, the clips of heard of the new spring reverbs are crazy good.

ATTENTION touch33
Reasons that would make you want to turn gapless off.

Cliff Note:
There are caveats:
1. If presets are using a lot of CPU
Then the gapless switching may not work
as there is not enough CPU available.
2. If presets are "STALE"
(saved under an OLDER revision)
Then gapless switching may not work
until the presets are saved.
This is because the preset is being updated
during the switchover.
3. If you switch presets RAPIDLY
you may get a gap because a lot of stuff
goes on in the background after switching
presets to get ready for the next preset change.
If you switch before these background tasks
are completed, then you'll get a gap.
It can take a few seconds for the tasks
to complete.

Didn’t do any or the beta updates cause I had gigs but updated tonight and it’s amazing. As I was expecting after hearing all the clips, the new reverbs sound amazing, the gapless switching is great, and the bonus of the new trems are super cool. Very nice update! That mausoleum IS as good as it sounded in Leon’s clip!

After installing FW 23.0 (released), my CPU went up about 2-3% into the
warning zone on my standard preset, which is usually around 78%.
I removed a few things and brought it down to around 66%, but the CPU meter
is dancing around like crazy. Constantly jumping from 66% to around 70%.
It never did this before. Anyone else noticing this?

BTW, I was running all the 23.0 betas before this behavior started.
I also had gapless enabled while using the Beta releases.
