Yep. Thanks :) As I suspected :( I've just now worked out a triple-all-in-one-CC command on the MC6 using FSW's F and C for Increment Up x 3 and Increment Down x 3 - its %99 there so will just go with that. Many thanks again and all the best, Ben

Thanks heaps unix-guy ! I've just read Pages 3, 4 and 5 of the Footswitch Functions Guide ... and from what I can tell .... the Bank Up / Bank Down and Bank Size settings are only available to use with the on-board FM3 FSW's and/or the FC6 and FC12 (?) I am trying to access and trigger...

Hmmmm ... ok ... just did this ^^ ..... I saved the scene / preset .... tested going from a Scene with Delay to a Scene with same Delay turned off and the trails worked as they should ..... I then moved to another preset and then went back to the "fixed" preset, and the Delay trails stopped...

Firstly, that's as tedious as all #$%@ to set up - and yes I know how to do it .... and it too is not always gapless as the number of "assignments" grows. Secondly I clearly remember when the Axe 3 was announced a huge deal was made of the "gapless switching" with the introduction of Channels...

Input Trim Value = Input Trim Setting = Scene Controller % Value ..... FULL TABLE ENCLOSED

Hi all ! Given all the help others gave me on this and how useful it was, I made a TABLE of the Input Trim Actual Real Value with its Corresponding Input Trim Setting and its Corresponding Scene Controller % Value. I ask a lot of questions so I thought I would give back a bit :) Hope this...

Thanks everyone - especially Hubertus and mr_fender :) Busted out the Windows 11 Scientific Calculator and you guys are bang-on ..... the Input Trim value works out to 0.631 [rounded out]. Very much appreciated :) Ben

Hi Because the -4db is less of an Input Trim drop than -6db ...... it will be a higher number than 0.5000. Thanks, Ben

Amp Block "Input Trim" ...... is this at the Analog Front End -or- in the Digital Side ?

So if i want to duplicate using an Anps "Low" Input Jack - which is generally 6db less than the "High" Input Jack - whats the optimal way to do this (?) Thanks, Ben

So unless I'm misunderstanding this, the "Input Trim" resides in the Amp Block and is therefore in the "Digital" side and -not- the Analog Front End Side ? Am I reading this right (?) Thanks, Ben

FW 5 Amps seem *way* brighter than FW 3 or FW 4 ..... anyone else "hearing" this ?

Hi all ! At their "usual" [to me] settings ......... anyone else "noticing" / "hearing" that the Amps in FW 5 seem way brighter than, say, FW 3 and FW 4 (?) Curious if others are maybe "hearing" this too (?) Thanks, Ben

FW 5 B4 ... Cab Block / Preamp " Tape 35us High Quality " uses %10 CPU .... has this gone up (?)

Hi all ! I noticed that the Release Notes, amongst many other things, includes " .... Improved “Tape” preamp types in Cabinet block .... " . I use the " Tape 35us High Quality " on all my Presets and just noticed that it alone uses up %10 points of the CPU ? I'm wondering if the %CPU Usage...

Hi Yek. If you don't mind me asking:- => have you noticed a CPU % Usage increase or decrease in your Presets going from FW5 B1-or-prior to FW 5 B4 (?) => if so, roughly how much is it either way (?) Thanks, Ben

Yep .... but unless Im "dreaming" or my memory is getting more and more "shot" ....... 4.5 DRIVE and 5.5 SATURATION were the default Cab Block Preamp values from FM3 FW 1 <-> FM3 5 B1 ...... and now they are 0 and 0 (?) Im thinking it could be a bug / oversight (?) Ben

So when you were running FM3 FW 1 <-> 4 and up to FW 5 B1 ... your Cab Block DRIVE and SATURATION defaulted to 0 and 0 ..... -not- 4.5 and 5.5 (?) Ben

Hi rglr ! Possible BUG in Cab Block. Regardless of Preamp Type selected, the DRIVE and SATURATION are now both always 0.00 (?) Before they defaulted to 4.50 and 5.50 respectively (?) Ben

My FM3 Global AC Line Hz has been set to 50Hz always. Wanting to know ... for my preset patches ........ if changing the "Amp Block" / "Power Supply Tab" / " AC Line Frequency " from 60Hz to 50Hz actually really does make the bottom-low-end sound a bit tighter and sound a bit less wooly...

Roland JC-40 + FM3 = Nice Live Option

Have you tried leaving the Power Amp Modelling and Cab Sim Modelling on on the FM3 and then running the FM3 Out into the JC40 EFX Loop In. I realize that it doesn't have FRFR speakers but I would think a little bit of judicious EQ'ing in your presets and this could sound pretty awesome ? Ben

Hi Fractal / Cliff ! Really good to hear :) Been following the Axe 3 FW 19 Final comments and feedback, and many users are reporting quite noticeable "tighter" / "more focused" low-mids-and-low's and a bit of a "sweetening" of the highs ... apologies for all the subjective non-technical...

Buzzing on any not clean sound (ex "torn speaker")

All sounds perfectly normal - I've never played a Fender that has a nice sounding / natural breakup / natural overdrive - but as others have said - this is what a mic'd amp sounds like. Ben

%99.99 sure that CPU issued was "fixed" and then the "fixed" version is what everyone is raving about in Axe 3 FW 19.00 final ....to the best of my reading of the FW 19.00 Final Thread all users are now reporting - at worst - no CPU increases ... but many are reporting mild to significant CPU...

They All Sound the Same Part Deux

Ummm .... hope this doesn't get me into trouble ....... but to my ears ..... I think Clip 5 "L6" essentially sounds identical to Clip 1 "Axe" ...... Clip 2 is has nicer and a bit tighter and less wooly/woofy low mids / lows than either Clip 1 or Clip 5. Splitting hairs here but just saying...
