Looking and FW 1 and looking at FW18, I have nothing negative to say about the huge amount of great upgrades we've had and continue to get. I've never downgraded once.

Transfer Error on Axe after edit reads 100% on FW update

Disappointed in the user interface

I have zero patience and the attention span of a goldfish with ADD. I've never had any problems dialing in sounds - and with axe edit, the task is even more effortless. I can't think of any FX units or amps that aren't controlled by dials / knobs ( and amps don't have LED displays either, you...

Any one else a little disappointed with the new FW/patches?

I start over with each new FW upgrade as I've found this much easier than trying to tweak existing tones which have been altered by the updates. As for FW 11 - am loving it, it sounds huge. And the new IR's from FAS and Ownhammer respectively really are the icing on the cake. Very cool having...

Grand theft auto 5 released in 3 days.

Anyone out there ordered it / getting it ? I can't be the only videogamer here ;) And it's not every day a videogame that cost £170 million to produce hits the shelves. As a long time fan of the franchise I'm excited. Looking forward to the release of the next generation consoles this year too !

Yeah - something with suspension is definitely going to be needed ! I just about stayed on the bike so if I can't fix my elbow for cycling / playing guitar I'd still have a good career at wrestling jackhammers ;)

Many thanks for your reply too - the first time it happened the numbness went away in a couple of hours. After a few short rides ( 9 miles or so ) it didn't seem to let up. Basically the country lanes here are like cycling on the surface of the moon so holding onto a metal bar sending vibrations...

Communication failure

For clarification I was going through the banks in reverse order very slowly, Axe edit was on as I wanted to find sounds I liked and wanted to fine tune them. Turning off and on again / rebooting AE 3.0 fixes it though.

There would be a huge market for someone to make an alternative for the MFC-101

I grabbed an MFC-101 at the same time I got an Axe II. Yes it's not cheap - neither is the Axe II. BUT - you get what you pay for. The Axe II has amazing sounds and gives you the equivalent of so many amps which would cost you hundreds of thousands to invest in. The MFC-101 is built like a tank...

For a beta, this sure doesn't feel like a beta. Much warmer tones ( to my ears ) made a notable difference to my patches and am glad - always nice to play with new tones ! As always thanks for your hard work - never had so much fun as a guitarist.

Yeah - I thought about that. But they made a huge loss on the PS3 too ( in Hardware ) and made up for it with software sales yet still kept free online gaming. Either way, £5 a month won't break the bank ! Looking forward to November :)

In all fairness I'd have been happy with a Standard. The Axe II is more than I'd ever need as a player - for those who want the III, IV, V etc then have at it ;) Personally this isn't all I ever wanted as a guitarist - it's a world beyond it. Take care all, and happy jamming !

That was my point ;) Have had mine well over a year and still haven't even scratched the surface. I can't imagine what you'd ever need to do tone-wise that you couldn't do with a II + FW10. The cleans / crunches / heavy and everything inbetween are stellar. Fantastic delays / wah + reverbs too...
