" 'You Did a Good Job', but My Guitar Was Turned Off"

Ace reminds me of some of the friends of my older brother in the 70’s that were in their mid 20’s and even close to 30. The ones that made it out of the late 60’s sort of in tact, but were still big partiers. Couldn’t quite always make sense of what they saying and whether they would be considered legally sane, but they were funny as F’ and always had me ROFLMAO. I miss those times.
 
Hoekstra sounds like he did the right thing for the sound, which is a skill most musicians need to learn - being able to pull back when necessary. He probably deserves the compliment from Frehley because he made it sound better by not adding more noise.
