XL+ FXL block, a delay, and RJM switcher help

Hello folks,
Quick question. I have an old AxeFx2 xl+. I’m using a rack switcher to switch loops running straight into the XL+ front input.
Now I have a boss dd3 delay that I want to run in the same way I had with my old tube rig it was in the amp’s FX loop. I never used the FXL block in the AxeFx either.
1)How would I set this up with the rack switcher so that when I turn on a loop (dd3) it’s in the FXL of the amp model? All I really understand is that it involves the FXL block, out2, out2 front knob.
2)Any I/O settings I need to check?

Honestly, for a basic digital delay pedal, it's not worth the effort. There's nothing the DD3 will give you that the delay block in the Axe II can't already do better.
