Have any of you that own a xds plus wireless for guitar played with both of the xds and xds + modes on the x2. Currently ive been using a schecter with active pickups that seem to bring out more high end frequency content then normal pickups do. Ive also been using the x2 in xds + mode and ive always seem to have trouble getting rid of all the high frequency string noise when playing single notes. Yesturday i decided to give the origional xds mode a try since it only produces frequencies up to 12,000 khz or so. My experiance is that it seems to tame some of the high frequencies and make it seem more like a guitar cable. Im still in the process of decided on whether i should use this mode or just go with a PEQ or not at the beginning of the chain in the ultra. What is your thoughts on using this mode? Does anyone use it?
