I`m considering picking up a couple of 8MA`s to run in stereo.

Just wandering if it`d work linking an 8MA and an 8M together, using the first 8MA (amplified speaker) to power the second passive 8M?
Or alternatively doing the same thing with the 12MA and 12M.

I see they have an XLR out so this may even work out ok?

No, I don't believe that will work. The XLR out only sends a line-level signal. Also, I'd expect the input to the 8M would be a speaker cable, not an XLR cable - designed to handle 350W with low distortion!
 
No worries at all.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, looks like i`ll have to decide between 2 x 8MA`s or 1 x 12MA.

Looking forward to hearing a few reports on the 8MA
