Why no interface upgrade?

Just curious, from a design standpoint, why the AXE-III still uses USB 2.0. Why not USB 3.0 or even USB-C?

2.0 to 3.0 USB wont make that much of a difference. It only really matters when you have like 8 mics going at the same time and you are recording with them. My 6i6 still uses 2.0. Plus most computers dont have usb C yet.
