Who's using the II with Pro Tools 9 (or with Command 8)?

Has anybody been able to confirm that the Axe FX II works flawlessly as a USB interface with Pro Tools 9? So far, everybody on here says it should work, but I haven't seen any first hand experiences. Also, has anybody used the Command 8 control surface, or similar product through the Axe FX II to control PT9?

Oh, somehow I didn't see that. What about the Command 8 or other control surfaces?

There are several possible permutations. What do you want to do? Use The Command 8 with Pro Tools (9 or 8) as the interface and control surface and connect the Axe-fx II via spdif in/out and/or analog line in/out. Or do you just want to (with Pro Tools 9) use the Command 8 as the surface and the Axe-Fx as the interface? All these should work but are obviously different to set-up.

I would like to control Pro Tools 9 with the Command 8, using the Axe 2 as an interface.

Should work fine by specifying the Axe-Fx as the playback engine and the Command 8 as a HUI controller - and do some futzing around with controller/io setup. Let us all know if you have any problems when you try...

That does means all audio ins and outs on the command 8 will not be available.
