What powered cabs for low vol, can get loud & dbl as monitor

I just bought a pair of FBT Verve 8ma's and they are quite nice for my needs. Built like tanks with metal grill cover. Sound great at bedroom levels, and have plenty of balls for my band. Far nicer low end than you would expect for 8s
 
The Verve 8ma is a perfect solution thus for for me. I have a 12ma on order and cannot imagine that between the two I'd run into any situation that one or both could not handle.
