What monitors/ speaker cabs are recommended

For the axe fx
Been thinking about making the transition but am really curious about what monitors to use with this unit.
The draw back could be having to spend another 2500 on a decent speaker / mini mixer to use with this.
I'd like to use the axefx live and in the studio. Any feedback is appreciated thanks

I say this a lot, and i still believe it. If you are hesitant to go frfr for live then don't. Try going into a real guitar cab that you are familiar with. I feel that it removes a lot of stress and choices to allow you to get comfy, then when you're ready for the next level of options and tweaking try frfr.

The other thing to consider is if live frfr is even feasible. I play in a loud metal band that plays a lot of dive bars and venues. If i were to rely on the house pa to be heard it would never work, because they are usually sub par at best. But if you have the cash to buy loud monitors that could carry a room then you'll be ok. There's a lot to consider. It's a big decision.
