WASAPI vs ASIO

Quick question about which of the two has better overall sound quality.

When I switch to ASIO the only thing I'm certain of is the volume being louder, but the audio quality seems better too.

Bonus question: Is the displayed latency for WASAPI accurate? It says 11ms but sounds more out of sync when playing fast compared to ASIO's 12.8ms
