Wah Sound on Patch Change

I have a Mission spring loaded wah pedal. Today I set it up on the first two factory patches and have a slight problem.

Upon program change to the next patch with a wah in the new and old patch I get a brief wah sound and then the patch is normal without the wah.

I set the controller menu to auto engage, have calibrated the pedal etc. Any ideas why?
 
The only thing I can think of is the controller must be sending a value for that external (from another pedal/switch/IA or internal CC) that engages the wah before the pedal value disengages it.

This shouldn't cause what you described but make sure the wah is actually stored bypassed as well--when you switch to the preset via front panel it should be off. If that was the reason it's slightly different from the standard/Ultra where wah would simply remain on in that scenario.
 
Sounds like that could be it. I will probably just reset it to default, I may have something set wrong
