The recent wah threads had me asking myself, is the problem the expression pedal?
I use the EP-1 and the wah kicks in at the bottom of the travel spectrum and as such seems abrupt. I am using auto-engage.
The SP-1 does not begin to work until the toe-down switch is engaged, thus I assume the activation of the wah begins at the top of the EQ spectrum and perhaps as a result, the on/off action may not be as abrupt.
I have no idea if there is a way to program the Axe Fx to only engage the wah at the toe-down position sans on/off, but if there is I'd like to hear how.
Otherwise, those using the SP-1 do you have the same issues?
