Volume block question

I'm loving setting up my patches with the scenes setting but am having a problem with the volume block. I'm setting one scene to fade in with a vol block envelope modifier but it's effecting every scene even when on bypass. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Is autoengage enabled for the modifier? It should be off, or any playing would automatically engage the block. You'd see that happen if viewing the layout menu on the front panel. Otherwise, post the preset if possible.
