Using mission pedal for whammy

Hey. I just recently got my rig set back up after a few years of hiatus. I've never been able to get the Whammy effect to work with my mission pedal. I followed a youtube video recently & still was not able to get it to work. Are the cables being used a big factor or are any cables able to be used?

Does anyone have any input on getting this to work? I am using the MFC101 foot controller. Thanks.

It's been about 6 years since I used an MFC and Axe Fx II.

You need to connect the Mission pedal with a TRS cable.

You need to configure the MFC to tell it which midi CC to send for the XP jack.

You need to tell the Axe Fx the same CC should be assigned to an External Controller.

You need to assign the External Controller to the Control parameter of the Wah block in any preset you want to use it in.

This is from memory... Possible I'm forgetting something, but I think that's the required steps.

Maybe @chris or @RoshRoslin has a video on this?
