Using AxeFx as USB interface question

Hello,

I want to use some Joe Satriani Amplitude sims that I bought a while ago but never bothered to try to figure out how I could use the AxeFx as a USB interface to function with the in Amplitude program. I have my Adam A7x speakers running as output 1 from my AxeFx. Ideally, I want to run my guitar signal into Axefx, out through usb connection to computer, procssed in Amplitude and then back to Axefx and output sound through the connected Adam A7s. Are there certain Input/Output blocks I need to setup in the chain to get it to function this way?

No, you don't need to do anything special in the Axe-FX preset. All you need to do is set the input for the DAW track to USB channels 5/6, set output 1 mode to "Mute", and turn on input monitoring for the track. You'll find more info here (see the "Monitor Through DAW" topic):

Thanks for the response. I am hoping to play just through the Amplitube program and not through my DAW. I'll check out that thread
