Using Aurora Delay in mono

I'm not sure, hence the question:
Does it make sense to use the Aurora Delay Mono?

It could have been that it is designed purely for stereo, like a ping pong delay, for example

The Halo delay that the Aurora is based on works very well in mono. Having said that, I don't know for sure if the Halo doesn't do something subtley different when in mono mode.

I use the Aurora quite a bit and it works well in mono as well, and as you probably expect it doesn't sound the same. But it's not like the 2290 phase cancellation where you won't get any delays with the default setting and SUM L+R.

Do you recommend for mono to set the PAN control to 0 for all 4 delays?
