[USING A POWER AMP] - What are the things to know? FRFR? Cab block off? EQ?

So, to the ones that play with a power amp and a cab, what are the things you've learned?
Also, it would be logical to turn off the cab block, but are there people that actually still use that block to get different tones? The cabs make a huge difference when it comes to frequency response. You wouldn't use them if you already have a real life cab, but still ... Who does? I'm curious.

So, any tips?

If you're using a clean SS PA then leave the power amp sims on, if using a clean high-powered tube amp leave the power amp sims on, if using a dirty/compressed tube power amp turn the power amp sims off, generally speaking, but as always "if it sounds good, it is good"!

Typically you'd turn the cabs off if using a guitar cab, though again, "if it sounds good, it is good", so do what you like!
