Unable to program expression pedal B on Behringer FCB1010

I've followed the instructions here to set up expression pedal A on my FCB1010:

This worked fine - I assigned the pedal to channel 27.
I then followed the same procedure to program expression pedal B (assigning channel 7 this time, instead of 27). But I'm not getting any signals from the FCB1010 when I press expression pedal B.
Any suggestions for what I might have done wrong?
 
Channel or CC?

Those are 2 different things... Both need to be set.

Also, there's only 16 channels so assuming you mean the CC number.
 
It seems to have been a calibration issue. I just discovered how to recalibrate all of the switches and pedals on the FCB1010 and this seems to have brought the 2nd expression pedal back to life
