If you're running in mono and have both out 1 L and R going into audio box or FOH L & R , would it be ok, or would you get double the distortion?
Not gain but output?
I find on my Redsound ELis 8's the MONO L & R from my out 1 sounds fantastic on both my L & R speakers. In fact I have no choice but to send both outputs as there are two speakers and in the active unit there are two inputs. If I send only one output the second speaker stays mute.
I run both speakers regardless of mono or stereo because I need the additional volume if I'm going to perform in front of a roaring crowd of 100+ people.
