can you turn off tap tempo flashing light ?

Not that I'm aware of. You can set the tap tempo to an external stand-in switch that doesn't have a flashing light, and re-write your FC-Edit Layouts to reflect that. I think I've got my tap tempo hidden among my Utilities layout pages; not on my Perform layout page.

The low tech way to turn it off is to cover it with opaque tape. It works for your check engine light as well!

I'd recommend only having the tap tempo switch available in one layout if it bothers you. If you use fixed delay times and tremolo speeds, then the tap-tempo probably won't be that useful to you, so relegating it to a layout that you only occasionally use will work.

A little square of Gaff tape is what I used.
