Trying to Import Preset Bank from Axe-Fx III to FM9

Hi everyone.

I'm making the switch from the Axe-Fx III to the FM9. Over the last year or so, I've created a bunch of presets on the Axe-Fx III that I want to import to the FM9. I have about 100 of them, and they're organized on one bank on the Axe-FX (bank H, which is at the very end of the preset list). I've exported Bank H using Fractal-Bot, and I thought I could then simply import Bank H into an open bank on the FM9 (bank D or E).

However, Fractal-bot won't let me do it. When I got to import the bank into the FM-9, I get an error that says: "the selected file is for the axe-fx III and is not valid for the FM9."

Any ideas of how I can get this done? I don't want to have to import one preset at a time - that will take forever. Thanks for any help.

This should work, but I'm going from memory...

Go into Manage Presets on the Axe Fx III.

Select all the presets you want and Export. I suggest exporting to a common, new folder.

On the FM9, go into Manage Presets.

Open the folder you just exported to in the browser of Manage Presets.

Select all the presets you want and Import.

You may also be able to just drag and drop them all from let pane to right pane.
