Trem cycle start on strum

Hey all, looking through the forum, it seems we really don't have a good way to start the phase of a trem block when you hit the strings, right?
This is a continual problem for me since when I play there are songs that need to be on time with the tempo. Yes I set the tempo on the preset no problem, but it never really starts when I need it to or it's in a different part of the cycle. It's kind of annoying lol.

I believe there is a threshold setting on the trem to make this happen. I have done this before on the fm9.
