I know that this is not an odd method. Lots of guitarists track overdubs in the control room, or solos. I have heard
of singers also tracking in the control room, and bassists.
My question is about an entire band tracking live in the control room. I saw where Daniel Lanois has done this, and
still uses that as a method for creating intimacy and connectedness.
