Sorry if this has been discussed already.
I want to bake some tone matching into my IRs, and I’m wondering what the best way to go about this is? There’s a lot of pros on here who do these.
I’ve tried capturing IRs of my amp EQ section successfully, but I’m not sure how to bake those IRs into a cab IR. I assumed CabLab would let you mix them in series, but it seems the only option is mixing in parallel which doesn’t work for this scenario. You can’t mix them in parallel on the unit either.
I don’t have an Axe III, I’m on FM9, so I don’t have a tone match block. That said, I don’t understand how those with an Axe III bake that block into their IRs anyway.
Any thoughts?
