Toggling effects across Scenes

Is there any way to setup a footswitch to toggle i,e virtual capo or any effects for that matter, across all scenes without having to do it in every scene?

No. A scene changes all blocks as saved. Exception could be Scene Revert being off.

it’s been a wish for a while to have blocks ignore scenes, but it’s not easy to implement.

You can use Control Switches to activate blocks across scenes. It wont toggle between channels of a block though.
