Hi,
So situation:
I am tracking guitars through AX-8 into UAD Apollo Twin. There is two paths in the preset, one with Amp and CAB. Other just dry guitar signal. Both are hard panned left and right. Recording stereo.
The dry signal that I recorded to Pro Tools through UAD, I want to send it back to AX-8 later from a Line output of the UAD Apollo with TS/TS cable into the AX-8, and record it again with process later.
Or send a recorded vocal track to Ax-8 so I can use the reverb from there with TS/TS cable.
Would I damage the AX-8 input by any chance sending Line Level signal?
Would there be an impedance mis-match, since it's expecting a Hi-Z input?
I didn't want to try without being technically sure of it.
