I just got a TC Mimiq pedal to use with my AX8 to help widen my sound a bit (I'm the only guitar player in multiple cover bands), but I'm having problems getting it to work properly through the AX8.
When I plug my guitar into the mono in of the pedal itself, and take the stereo outs directly to my interface, I hear a stunning doubling of the guitar sound when the pedal is on. It's big and wide, and fantastic. Great, I know the pedal works.
If I plug my guitar into my AX8 and the Mimiq into the FX loop, and have ONLY an FX loop block in the signal chain with the pedal on, there is almost no difference between the sound when the loop is on and when it's off. There's no stereo spread at all, it still sounds mono.
So what am I missing? Is there a part of the AX8 signal chain I'm misunderstanding? Panning somewhere I've missed? Obvious setting I've overlooked? Any help is appreciated! Cheers,
