Sound Control on USB Playback

I just received my FM9 and will be using it as an audio interface. Reaching down to adjust the volume is not going to be a long term solution.
This may have been posted here before but I will post it again.
Check out the application Sound Control. Link to website: https://staticz.com/soundcontrol/
This will allow playback volume from my Apple keyboard instead of reaching down to the floor unit.

Now if I can only figure out how to route the USB playback output to Out 2. Keeping the Out 1 for guitar and Out 2 for USB audio.

I/O -> Audio -> USB Output mapping. Or simply use the Audio Midi app or your DAW to send to whatever usb channels you'd like.

I tried the I/O -> Audio -> USB Output mapping. I didn't get any sound.
I want to use the audio playback as standalone. Not through a DAW.
i.e. set the output volume level via output 2 over USB.

If you've discovered a bug in the FM9, you should probably report that to FAS. In that case, use the other method I mentioned and use the Audio MIDI app to route system audio to usb 3/4.
