[solved] Sort A-Z

This A-Z sort is just for the LCD screen to select Presets from there. The FC preset order cannot be modified beach and forth between A-Z and the regular order using that screen because all FC switch assignments would have to change. The FC assigns presets to switches via numerical order only and isn’t “aware” of alphabetical ordering.

I understand the wish, but I don’t think this is possible. Just my educated guess for this one.
 
The wish is to actually re-sort the presets alphabetically, rather than just the display.

You can do this easily using FM3-Edit:

1. Export your presets to a directory.
2. Drag this directory into the browser pane of MANAGE PRESETS.
3. Choose SORT ALPHABETICALLY from the browser menu.
4. Drag them back to the FM3.
5. Save.

I actually do this quite often with banks of "Archival" presets for pro artists I support.
