Setting LAYOUT -1 / +1 on FC-12 with external switches

I have FM3 and FC-12. I would need to set (either on the FM3 or on the FC-12 (preferably) the function LAYOUT -1 / +1 on the external switches.

But so that only LAYOUT is switched to FC-12, not to FM3, can anyone advise me how to do it, thanks a lot. MM

Mám FM3 a FC-12. Potreboval by som nastaviť (buď na FM3 alebo na FC-12 (radšej) na externé prpínače funkciu LAYOUT -1 / +1.
Ale tak, aby sa prepínal len LAYOUT na FC-12, nie na FM3, viete mi niekto poradiť, ako to urobiť, díky moc. MM

Configure the switch functions as Layout Increment or Decrement.

However, how to make this only affect the FC-12 and not the FM3 I am not sure.

@Admin M@ - how do the Layout functions work if assigned to a stand-in switch? How does the unit know which device to control?

It think it applies the change to the device it’s connected to. Could be wrong haven’t done it in a while.
