Ok, in an effort to continue the revival here’s a tone question.
A bit of context, I’m not at all experienced with the bass. The kind of sound that I want is something like below which I understand to be a not so typical sound with the high end boosted.
Any thoughts on how to get closer especially the gain structure?
Coming from guitars primarily I think I tend to overuse compression.
