Room Level in Cab Block- Recording?

I've noticed that most presets that forum users post have absolutely no room level in them (cab block). I generally play with headphones (where using room level makes a massive difference) or with studio monitors at fairly low volumes (room level helps here too since the volume's not high enough to get some natural room verb going).

I'm just curious as to what a lot of you guys do when recording. I haven't done a lot of recording but it seems that if I use no reverb at all on the guitars it just seems horribly dry. So what do you prefer? No reverb at all? Room level from the cab block? Reverb block? External hardware? Room/far-field IRs? Or do you add reverb via a plugin in your DAW software?

I record, at least 2 different IRs simultenously. Use fxl block and 2 cabs for this. And delay and reverb, u better record them either on a different track or avoid it. If it lets u play better u can also add it to your headphone or monitor mix but not record.
U have endless routing options with axe and a decent interface.
