Roland EV-5 (Side Volume Knob)

I am using this as an EXP Pedal. Toe down is the off position and I use the "auto on" feature of FM3.

Question, the Volume knob on the side, should this be fully clockwise or anti clockwise before calibration?

There’s an indicator on the pedal housing near the bottom of the volume knob. Make sure 0 on the knob is lined up with that indicator. So the pedal is sweeping from silent/off to full volume if you were to use it as a volume pedal.

I got tired of that knob getting bumped, so I removed it.

No need to remove the knob, a small piece of gaff tape has held mine in place for well over a decade.
