If you're not into hearing about the guitar just move forward past the talking part to the playing part. I think I got a great crunchy tone from an Eternal Love pedal into a Double Verb with Factory #123 cab. It doesn't hurt that this guitar is incredible.

Interesting! How is the weight and balance of this guitar?

I played a Travis Bean way, way back... and it was super heavy! But it sounded great, especially for bluesy clean tones. The coldish feel of the aluminum neck took some getting used to but felt comfortable in the hand.

The balance is really perfect, it sits on the leg and the strap very nicely. its quite ergonomic in its design but it is a bit heavier than I'd like weighing in at just over 8lbs its rather like a Les Paul. I'd gotten use to playing Strandberg's that are more in the 5lb range and thats really easy on the shoulder, but this guitar sounds and responds like nothing I've ever played before, it also has near perfect intonation.
