Resource/Forum for Mixing Tutorials/Advice?

I’m an old Sneap forum regular and that place taught me so much. When I reread a lot of it now, there’s so much questionable information there which was kind of a byproduct of the time when accurate information was hard to come by, and there was no youtube or easy way to really back stuff up.

Sound on Sound have years and years worth of amazing interviews and articles you can access for free.

I sub to MWTM and it’s been very valuable to me. I think it really depends on where you’re at though - for a beginner it may not be the easiest to follow.

I’d really recommend checking out credits for anyone you’re considering learning from - there are so many loud voices with very little real world experience to back up what they’re saying. Often there’s some good advice from most people, but I see so much dreadful and unprofessional advice online that I’d tread carefully. Websites like Pure mix and MWTM feature professionals with lengthy careers and a lot of albums beneath them.
