Recto Depth Control?

I'm sure this has been answered here 100 times but I can't find it. What does the "depth" knob do in a recto amp sim? I don't really hear anything happening.

Should bring the low end out a bit more. That is what the "depth" does in other amps and I love using it.

that makes sense, thanks. I "wish" there was like a dead state for the control, maybe it was greyed out or something like that just so it's obvious it isnt available for certain models. Anyway no big deal i just use the dynamic depth
