Recording with ULtra Axe-FX , M Audio NRV10 and DAW(Reaper)

Hi All

I am a newbie to recording and would like some advise on connections, setup and configuration with a DAW.

This is my current set up just for practice.

Guitar -----------> AXE-FX Ultra ------------1/4----> ch 1 M-Audio NVR10 ( Mixer & Audio Interface )
Output 1 Unbalance

PC1(Itunes) -----> Line 6 XT Pro -------------1/4---------->ch 2 M-Audio NVR10 ( Mixer & Audio Interface) ------------ Adams A5X
( For Guiar backing tracks)

PC2(DAW)--------------------Firewire---------------------- M-Audio NVR10 (Mixer & Audio Interface)


I use the M-Audio NVR10 as a mixer with one channel for the Axe-FX and the other for via Line 6 for backing track. This way I can control volumes on indiviidual channels . I would like to able to record the 2 tracks and play back on the Adams speakers. I may also want to record a separate rhythm track on a 3rd channel on the DAW.

I am thinking of dowloading Reaper as it was mentioned on this blog. I had some problems using Ableton live. Any suggestions using Reaper or any changes in my set up would be appreciated....
