Record rehearsal through AXE FX III

I want to setup a room mic and record a band rehearsal through the AXE FX 3 while I'm playing through it. I can record with it now, but I'm confused on whether I can record just say Input 2. I don't want to record my guitar, Input 1, as it will be coming through the room mic with everything else. My goal is to just have a recording of our rehearsal, I don't need a high quality recording. I'm using Logic.

I'm reading the manual and have completely confused myself with USB input and outputs. If there are other ideas of how people do this, it would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks!

In your preset, route input 2 to output 2. In your DAW, record usb channels 3/4. Depending on whether you're using a mic pre in front of the Axe-FX or not, you might have to turn down the output level of the output 2 block.

Nope. You'll need to use a phantom power adapter (Rolls makes a popular one) if you want to plug straight into the Axe-FX. Or use a mic pre. See configuration #3 in the recording guide for info.
